HONOZOOLOO IS BOOMIN!

Honozooloo featured in Sunday's Honolulu Advertiser by my favorite Island Life writer Lacy Matsumoto:

In 2001, Aaron Yoshino, right, began Honozooloo as a freelance design and photography business. He didn't expect his Web site to become one of Honolulu's most popular nightlife blogs — but it did. "It was mostly an easy way to keep a working portfolio for myself," says Yoshino. "I started shooting a lot of events that I regularly attend, and before I knew it, Honozooloo ended up becoming this visual archive of some of the best events in town."

His professional eye captures artistic nightlife scenes, with emphasis on lights, movement, and creating a visual sound. www.Honozooloo.com is more than your average blog.

"I see it as a cause that I try to advocate through my photographs. In a small way it's like I contribute to the community," Yoshino says. To see more of Honolulu's nightlife, visit www.honozooloo.com.

Queens is lucky to be working with Honozooloo on a couple special projects coming up. Look out!
